Area Security Supervisor
Location: Birmingham / Midlands
Salary: £19,000 - £21,000 + company car, phone, laptop

My client is a quality focused retailer who are currently looking to appoint a Area Security Supervisor to cover the Birmingham area. You must have proven supervisory experience in the security industry.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Previous Supervisory or management experience in the security industry ideally retail security or loss prevention
SIA licensed
Previous loss prevention or retail security experience
Previous scheduling and rostering experience

Duties:

Supervising a team of Security officers
Rostering and scheduling the security team
Recruitment and selection of security officers
Conducting training, performance reviews and disciplinaries
Incident report writing
Conducting risk assessments
Carrying out investigations into stock loss

My Client has an opportunity for an experienced security Sales Manager/ Business Development Manager to join their team. The role will cover the Midlands and North West Region. Your role will be to identify, develop and close key opportunities for the company's manned guarding team across the UK. The role will involve selling to a customer base that includes blue chip, retail and commercial clients.
The company are looking for a genuinely ambitious individual to grow with the company and make a positive contribution to expand their security portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

•Source and develop profitable new business
•Effective communication with existing and potential customers.
•Operate as part of the National Business Development Team.
•The compilation of effective tender proposals.
•Preparation of quotations and tenders
•Prompt action of sales leads as directed by the Commercial manager.
•Timely and accurate completion of tender questionnaires.
