My client is a large blue chip company who are looking to appoint 2 Mechanical Plant Technicians. You will be working in the Facilities & Building Engineering services team at their London Head Office. The team consists of engineering and building technicians working as part of a multi-skilled team.

Applicants must have the following experience:

Prior experience in the facilities & building services sector
You must have a strong understanding of HVAC
Qualified to a minimum City and Guilds in the relevant discipline or BTEC - ONC equivalent
Possessing a Gas Safe registration in commercial gas fitting would be beneficial
Possessing refrigeration safe handling certificates would be beneficial
Qualification to electrical installation 16 edition wiring regulations would be beneficial


Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems,
Carry out maintenance of compressed air systems, diesel generation and all other associated mechanical plant.
Use of building management systems
Prioritize tasks and schedule activities to satisfy customer requirements are essential.
Work within maintenance and project related activities involving external service providers, where they will be required to demonstrate effective communication skills and flexibility.
A strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work
