BDM - Guarding

London | £ 25000.00 per annum

Security Sales & Business Development Manager (Manned Guarding)
Location: London
Salary: £25k - £30k Basic + Commission + Company Car/Car allowance

My Client is a small but ambitious independent security services provider. They have an opportunity for a driven security Sales Manager/ Business Development Manager to join their team. The role will cover the London Region.

The role will involve selling to a customer base that includes blue chip, retail and commercial clients.

The company are looking for a genuinely ambitious individual to grow with the company and make a positive contribution to expand their security portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

• Source and develop profitable new business
• Effective communication with existing and potential customers.
• The compilation of effective tender proposals.
• Preparation of quotations and tenders
• Prompt action of sales leads as directed by the Commercial manager.
• Timely and accurate completion of tender questionnaires.
• Effective maintenance of Company sales database.
• Completion of accurate weekly sales activity reports

Personal Qualities/Skills:

• The ability to work to tight deadlines.
• First class negotiation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Adaptable and flexible.
• Good PC Skills and typing ability.
• Self motivated and reliant.
• Maintain confidential information
• Must have good presentation skills,
• Persistent and competitive

Each candidate must have prior experience in the UK security industry.

Our client, a leading provider of support service solutions is looking for a Telesales Executive to join their successful sales and business development team based in London. You will be given comprehensive training and support in order to maximize your success. There is a great opportunity for career progression and many of their current high achievers started in the telesales team.

Responsibilities:

You will target corporate clients, establishing their support service needs and situation.
You will research and plan your calls before following a business development plan
You will be speaking with company managers to book appointments and meetings

Experience required:

Previous experience in a customer focused role
Previous sales experience in a business 2 business setting
Target driven - will be working towards KPI's and targeted on the number of meetings/appointments you book for the Sales & Business Development team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
