A market leading Fortune 500 company with a global footprint has an opportunity for an ambitious and commercially astute Facilities Management professional to lead their delivery of FM across a defined international region.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, innovative and ‘hands-on’ Facilities Manager to work in a complex, fast paced international role. You will lead the strategic FM programme, and lead a high-performing international team.
 
You will be:
 
  • A Facilities Manager with significant experience leading teams internationally
  • Commercially astute with experience influencing and engaging senior stakeholders
  • Strategically strong with experience leading change programmes and complex FM projects
  • Operationally strong with experience managing business as usual Facilities Management operations.
  • Happy travelling extensively when required
 
Responsibilities will include:
 
  • You will lead the strategic facilities function internationally encompassing over 350 sites.
  • Developing and leading a high-performing Facilities Management team across regions
  • Budget management and cost control
  • Lead on the assessment and grading of the facilities portfolio including the mechanical equipment, building shell, interior finishes, energy effectiveness, etc. and develop recommendations for improvements.
  • Leading the development of the portfolio’s facility annual capital plan including infrastructure upgrades and building modifications
  • You will lead the development of the FM sourcing plan (3rd party suppliers etc.). This will include negotiations, writing contracts, setting up vendors, and reviewing certificates of insurance for compliance.
  • Work closely with sourcing and supply chain teams globally to define scope of service providers, coordinate supplier terms, and manage national and regional supplier performance
  • Lead the discussions with service providers regard performance targets (SLAs) and performance review.
  • Look to proactively manage all FM services across regions to ensure customer satisfaction and performance levels.
  • Represent real estate organization at the regional level, developing and fostering regional client relationships as appropriate.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the annual management plan.
  • Develop and implement FM programs, processes and projects that aim to reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity or longevity
